The Muslim community is a very small community, about 200 families live here. The Islamic Association of Saskatchewan – Moose Jaw was established in 2004, under the leadership of Dr. Ramadan who has been in the forefront of establishing the Islamic community here in Moose Jaw. From 2004 to 2018 the Association rented a small space in the basement of the mini-mall at the main street.
Thank you to Allah now the Association has a new Masjid at 73 Lancaster Road, Moose Jaw. The Masjid is very close to Canada Highway 1. Muslims who are travelling through Moose Jaw can stop by and perform prayer. The association has a fulltime Imam for all five times prayers. Check our website for Moose Jaw local prayer times.
