Election Announcement 2020

The Election Committee is announcing that the positions below are available for nomination and election on November 5th, 2020;

• Secretary (2 Years Term)
• Treasurer (2 Years Term)
• Director (2 Years Term)
• Director (2 Years Term)
• Director (2 Years Term)

The nominee must have of Members in good standing who are;

• A resident of Moose Jaw.
• Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.
• With no Criminal Record, with no current & past withstanding bankruptcy.
• Not a voting member of any other Islamic Association in Saskatchewan.

Who are willing to run for these vacant positions are welcome to fill the nomination form submitted by the election committee by a scanned copy to electioncommittee@iasmoosejaw.com or in-person on November 1st & 2nd, 2020 directly after Maghrib Prayer in the Mosque to Mr. Abdella, with scanned/photocopy of Valid Saskatchewan driver’s licence or Photo ID. The deadline for application is on November 2nd, 2020, at 11:59 pm.
We will announce the person’s names who submitted a nomination for board election on November 3rd, 2020.
Please note after that deadline of submission of nomination passed, no application will be accepted. Also, an incomplete nomination form will be declined.
The election will be held on November 5th, 2020, from 06:00 to 08:00 PM in the Islamic Association of Saskatchewan (IAOS), Moose Jaw, 73 Lancaster Road, Moose Jaw – Saskatchewan.
Election result will be announced on November 7th, 2020 in AGM.
