In the spirit of Eid ul-Fitr, the Islamic Association of Saskatchewan – Moose Jaw donated food to the Moose Jaw foodbank. Thank you to the Madras students, Madras instructors and association board for their time and contribution to this cause.

“Hilal Council of Canada met at Masjid Darus Salaam on the eve of 24th June, 2017 (29th of Ramadan) and is pleased to announce, in accordance with principle of Ittehadul Matalee ( Global Sighting), hilal has been sighted. After proper verification on information received on hilal sighting, the hilal for Shawwal has been confirmed as sighted and accordingly Eid ul Fitr will be, on Sunday, June 25,2017”. Eid Ul-Fitr Information
Eid celebration is expected to be on Sunday June 25th, 2017 if there is moon sight. If not In Sha Allah Eid prayer will be on Monday June 26th, 2017.
Prayer time: 8:00 am ( Please bring prayer rags)

Eid celebration will be at the same day but later at 5:00 pm. It will be a Potluck Supper. Bring one plate for the men and one for the ladies
