EID AL-FITR ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS ON SATURDAY

Asalaam Alaykum,

Saturday June 16th, 2018 Kids’ Activities:

  1. At 12:00 pm at the Masjid: Madras students  will be given certificates for Quran competition. Sweets and drinks will also be provided.
  2. After Dhuhr prayer kids will go to YARA Centre for various activities.

Eid Mubarak!

Ramadan 1439

Asalaam Alaykum,
The Hilal Committee in Toronto has declared that Friday, 15th June 2018 will be Eid Al-Fitr. IAOS- Moose Jaw has agreed in the past to follow the Hilal Committee of  Toronto. Therefore IAOS-Moose Jaw will be praying Eid AL-Fitr tomorrow.

The Hilal Committee of Toronto received positive sighting reports (in accordance to Sunnah) from various locations across its parameters on the eve of Thursday 29th Ramadhan 1439 – 14th June 2018

The Hilal Committee declares Friday 1st Shawwal 1439 15th June 2018.

The Hilal Committee wishes everyone a Happy Eid Mubarak.

Correspondently 29th Shawwal will be of Friday 13th July 2018.

Moonsighting Report

The crescent Moon to commence the month of Shawwal 1439 AH was looked for on the eve of Thursday 29th of Ramadhan (14th June 14, 2018) reports received from within the parameters confirm that the moon has been sighted.

The Hilaal committee has accepted the reports and has declared that the 1st month of Shawwal and celebration of Eid Ul-Fitr will be on

 Friday 15th June 2018.

The 29th of Shawwal will fall on Friday 13th July 2018.

The Hilaal committee wishes everyone EID MUBARAK.

In the spirit of Eid ul-Fitr, the Islamic Association of Saskatchewan – Moose Jaw donated food to the Moose Jaw foodbank.  Thank you to the Madras students, Madras instructors and association board for their time and contribution to this cause.
